Boy Scouts of America to Honor Judy Hayes

On Tuesday, April 9, 2019, the Natchez Trace District of the Middle Tennessee Council, Boy Scouts of America will honor the service and dedication of Judy Hayes to our community at their 2019 Williamson County Good Scout Event.
Hayes served as a Williamson County Commissioner for 28 years, giving guidance to environmental stewardship, heritage tourism, and historic preservation efforts. She was instrumental in the revival of the Williamson County Fair. Along with her public service, Hayes also taught at Bethesda and Grassland Elementary Schools. Her recognitions for her outstanding community support are numerous, to include the Caroline J. Cross Award and the Anne T. Rutherford Exemplary Community Volunteer.
The Natchez Trace District serves 3,551 local Scouts in Williamson County, teaching them citizenship, physical fitness and leadership development. Contributions from this event will go directly to support the programs of the Natchez Trace District, Boy Scouts of America.
